- Nicknames: Kate is the nickname mostly used if people don't have time to say my whole name, Katie Lou is used when I am being teased or if the person who used it is in a weird mood. Only a few people use the name Katie, librarians, and adopted aunts are two of those people. My full name is used when I'm in touble. It doesn't get used that often...really...it doesn't...
